Seat Belt Anchor Points
Afternoon all - a quick question: Is it permissible to use the same point as a shared anchor for more than one belt? I want to put a lap belt on my buddy seat for occasional use and was thinking about doubling up on the passenger seat anchor points.

Re: Seat Belt Anchor Points
My rear 3 point seat belts share a central mounting point for the clip part. Van has passed it's MOT like that, and it's something they check, so my guess is yes.

Re: Seat Belt Anchor Points
I'm just going to go ahead and install the lap belt using the two bottom anchors for the front passenger seat. See what the tester says at the next MOT. Very easy to remove if need be. Cheers for the input.
