Hot Coil syndrome

Post by Cheeky V »

Hi folks, Ignition coil is getting warm to hot (still touchable) but from what I've ready from everyone here is that its probably on the way out.

So I need to source a new one! anyone got a prefer'd source or upgrade?

2.0 Cu with original igniton (hall unit)

Thanks :ok

Coils get hot, the slower the engine is running the hotter they get. If you can touch it then it is unlikely to be at faulty.
