Hi
Been advised I need a replacement vacuum control unit for my T25 Westfalia, linking the turbo to the 1.9 AAZ engine I've recently had installed. I've looked on eBay and Brickwerks but can't find anything by that name or that looks similar.
Anyone got advice about where I could buy one?
Thanks

I think you mean the LDA on the diesel pump? these guys might do one for the AAZ. http://vwenginerecon.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What's up with your one? there is not a lot to them, a diaphragm which can split and a boost pin. I repaired my diaphragm with a bike puncture repair kit.
this is the 1.6td LDA which is probably different from yours http://www.brickwerks.co.uk/index.php/l ... td-jx.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
which is probably flatter more saucer shaped? it doesn't connect to the turbo but to a short pipe on the inlet manifold

Hi
Thanks for that.
There's a couple of photos via this link: http://jpegbay.com/gallery/003855896-2.html#2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; .
It looks like the LDA shown in Brickwerks, but I'm not sure and I'm unclear whether it's the same part for the 1.6td as for the 1.9 AAZ engine.
Is it just a case of unbolting it from the top of the engine and taking the diaphragm housing apart to see if it can be patched?
Thanks
