Post by delboy1 »

HI can anyone advize me.
on the way to suffolk the other day a big puff of smoke and a nasty noise.
on closer inspection i noticed the oil pump pulley had ceased.
managed to free it and on my merry way.
sometime a long way dowm the A 14 i noticed i had no breaks and smoking like a chimney

How can anybody help when we dont know what engine or year van you have?

brakes are affected by lac of vacuum to the servo, either from the inlet manufold on petrol or vacuum pump on diesel

Broken intermediate shaft at first guess, oil pump and vacuum pump being run from this.
