Y1 engine.
I want to get a reconditioned 1.9 Y1 engine for my 1.6TD high top, does anyone know where I can get one from.

The only place i've seen advertising a reconditioned 1Y (with fitting) is T25 direct in london:-

Not cheap, but a properly reconditioned and tested 1Y with warranty would be a sensible route to go!
