Probably going to sound like I don't know what I'm talking about (especially if I get asked any questions), but looking for help if anyone can...
Had our 1.9dg van in at the garage because it has been cutting out and idling really poorly, but on and off. Tracked it down to an air leak because of the poor condition of one of the carb gaskets. Problem is, neither me nor our mechanic can seem to find one anywhere.
Its for a pierburg 2e3, and I believe it's sometimes called a base gasket? Its the one between the carb and the manifold. None of the rebuild kits seem to contain this particular gasket and I haven't been able to find one on its own either. Any help appreciated.

Re: Pierburg carb gasket
Do you mean the circular one with the little ridges, as in this pic (borrowed from elsewhere on this site)?
If so, I have a new one here, spare, if you need it...

That's the one I thought it was, but I've been told it's not the right one.
It's supposed to be the one circled in this image
I'm starting to doubt if I've got the right info now. I'm taking it a bit on faith as I'm still very new to it

Re: Pierburg carb gasket
Four studs is not a pierburg so not standard, looks like webber
you can make them with gasket paper available on ebay
Just draw around your spacer and cut it out
if you are really desperate or tight as an *r$3 hole you can even use a beer box or cornflake box
