TDC flywheel marking - how do I spot it?

TDC flywheel marking - how do I spot it?

Here with Sarran1955, trying to set the timing on my 1z engine - using a standard diesel bellhousing, and cannot spot a mark for TDC on the flywheel - any pointers?

Maybe you could try looking for the V notch on the clutch.

Come on you have a pic!
Notch between the two lugs at 4 o'clock position on the clutch cover on the left pic.

Cheers! Now up and running after a couple of fuel pump "one tooth out" errors :)
