Squeeky Tappet?

Post by Cheeky V »

well she's here! Cheeky V has been rebuilt and is off to the Iow tomorrow!!

One problem, I appear to have a squeeky tappet? only when under load, if you press the clutch in it goes away (could be clutch? checked clutch when engine was out and it was almost new, replaced clutch release bearing at the time)

coming from left hand side possibly cylinder 3, I was having problems setting the tappets on that cylinder (the tappet adjust screws were at majorly different heights compared to each other and cylinder 4)

I've got a pretty comprehensive tool kit with me

Any ideas/help would be awesome :ok

Cheers
