Temperature gauge

Post by DevonMark »

Our temperature gauge has stopped working - think a connection must have been knocked when the exhaust was replaced. Radiator fan etc working fine, it's just the gauge that is not working.

Apparently it's an easy fix....can anyone quickly talk me through it?

Cheers

Hi,

There are two sensors on mine, both on the plastic thermostat housing. I presume one works temp and the other the pressure. Have a look to see if anything has come loose or has been knocked off. Both are two wire multi plugs and I think one is red and one is black.

Mines a 1.9 WBC

Red/yellow one is temp sender Mark. Is yours early or late?

Late are two pin senders, early one is a single nipple that a male spade goes on to, on top of water pump. :ok
