Sherpas translift type hightop board racks

Post by Mouseyt25 »

I am in the process of getting one manufactured by my father-in-law who is an engineer, we were both wondering while hes in the design process would it be worth our while making a couple of sets, basically what im asking is would you/people you know be interested? im not asking for commitment to buy obviously as they are not made or tested yet, or do we just make one for me, they would be a lot cheaper than the original ones as we wont be looking to make money just help a few fellow hightop owners out and save them some of the all important pennies, let me know your thoughts

I have no need for one but wanted to comment on what a thoughtful gesture this is for those that may want one. Best of luck to you.
Why would the glass be anything other than half full?

Hi,

Are these for carrying surfboards on? If so, well done to you! Myself and the other half spent months looking for some high top side mounting j-bar type contraptions to carry the boards on this summer, we finally found a set of thule ones on fleabay and snapped them straight up. All the ones we'd found on google were either ended auctions or DIY home-fabricated technological wonders. We still need to make some j-bars and alter the thule set we bought AND attach them to the roof, and are supposed to be going away on friday!

If you're thinking of making some for people to buy I'd hazard a guess they'd be very popular. Keep us posted :)

Hi, I am definitely interested. I'm in the early stages of windsurfing and need a means of getting windsurfs to water, along with the other 2 tonnes of gear we seem to need for a weekend camping. I have a car and roof rack which works great but no use when we're in the van.

Please let me know what, if when and how.
Cheers

Ady
