it does need a few things seeing to,

as built,is not suitable for hanging a hi-lift off

so a modification will be made
engine bay,loads of room but its laid over a bit more

so air filter fits ok

but still things to modify and improve ,also
things at this side as well

but we will hang fire here for a mo as there are other more pertinent things

im not crawling under on a sunday but

its bad on the inside and the other lleg is the same
so its in for a penny in for a .... to do right which is the only way it looks like i will be dropping the front end off, should leave the rack and arb, also the grey tank needs to come out ,joy of joys , will be a chance to locate it correctly anyhows

A query, i upload to pee bucket direct from my phone as its quicker, but this album is not listed when accessed via my phone .any ideas what i need to do

Are you using the Photobucket app Mike? If so, click on the 3 lines on the top left & then click on Your Library, this should then show the albums. If the album isn't there, just try selecting 'Your Bucket' as this should bring up all photos with latest first (in case it's still there). In addition, sometimes I find you have to wait a bit if you've just uploaded a few.

yep done that there are loads of albums but toms is not listed even though it exists when i access it from the laptop

Yeah, might be worth trying again Mike. Those ones I sent over to you of mine you could view on my computer but for some reason seemed to take an age to show the album on the p'bucket app on my phone. The other option might be to go through photobucket through your browser

well some things are going to visit Aiden and some things are going to be cooled differently and some means of towing out of situations will be explored and secure storage is being looked at and and oh and chassis reps

Well been busy organising stuff and so forth
will mount this with the bolts as the emg cord has been removed

i note that the sink drain hose to the tank where it joins the tank is badly kinked and a bit of detritus as in rice etc and it would be blocked, need to change this out with some convoluted i think
ARB pedestals ,the ns has badly corroded and the bush is past its best

diff and subrame will be dropped out in the morning


any reason these are like this


they do give clearance, im thinking of cutting and taking the bulge out and rewelding as they would look better
gear box will be off to Aiden beginning of the week and i can start the chassis.
front towing eyes are sorted and i will make a few extras

The sink has been draining slowly for a while, just one of those jobs I haven't got round to. I need to order a new tap for the waste tank as the original one is on a lane is Salisbury somewhere!

One the drop links may need replacing or a little work. Near side I think? The threaded part snapped off just before a Xmas trip a couple of years back. As everyone was out of stock I drilled, tapped and insert a piece of studding. However I cut it too short. I don't think a new bush will fit as it is.

Ref the prop bars, I don't know why they are in that shape.

well overall iuts a very good clean van , many of the usual nasty areas are quite good,got the lot dropped out this morning, as for nasty suprises well thats a matter of opinion and degree but nothing that cant be easy sorted
front dropped out ready for stripping

lower arm bolts seized of course

then g box whipped out ready for a holiday at Aidens

5 of the rear cv bolts refused to move as in rounded holes so had them of with a cutting disc and will fit new set to both sides, not worth it if you need one out in the middle of
nowhere and they are fecked
