TDI oil pan adapter ALH and later?

Post by rsxsr »

Hello, just figured out how to link pictures. I have 3 pictures of an oil pan adapter to adapt the original diesel oil pan to the ALH and later TDI engines. All I know is it came from Europe. I am in the US, but thought I would post here to see if someone knows about this adapter. I am using a fabricated pan on my ALH conversion, but would like something cleaner for the next one. Not enough demand to have a run of them made here.

Haven't seen that one before. But have you seen the pan FAS products make?

Yes, I have seen their pans. I've also seen where a couple people have carefully married to the two pans, but you only get one shot at it and the diesel pans are rare. I like the idea of using the stock pan and that is why I posted here. Thank you.

Looks ok...but the gearbox bolts won't line up and the exhaust bracket will be further down...not massive issues in themselfs but
