Space under front seats a Uk alternative ?

I've googled it to death, checked here and on the yard, only samba comes up with this

A bit pricey and I'm not sure if I like the drawer idea as it limits the space. Has anyone seen a UK or European version?

My van just has a bog standard home safe (about the size of a loaf of bread) bolted in the space under the passenger seat.

I'm away with work at the moment but I'll try to find the maker and get a picture on Friday.

Yeah I have a safe bolted in in the back, it's just this is a neater but more pricey solution, although I could swear that I had seen something else similar from a German company but I can't find it anywhere.

funny this but im just in the process of designing one to fit under std or swivel bases and certainly a lot more secure than the offering shown above, thinking key rather than combi for various reasons

That sounds just what I'm looking for so count me in for one if you get round to selling them,
I'm sure I saw a side opening one once with a key lock.

Yes, that does sound interesting. Are you planning to make it accessible from the front cab, i.e. requiring the steel to be cut away at the front of that cavity?

i have the option of combination lock, dial lock or key and personally favor key as its easier to use in the dark etc
busy sorting the details out now

Do not dis the combination lock! You would be surprised just how easy you can open the small cabinet locks in there place! Recently fitted a gas lifting tonneus cover on the back of my dads Toyota the thing cost near £1800 and the lock.let it down badly similar lock to.petty cash tins cabinets etc the keys given with a cheap tool box opened the lock! at least combination locks can't be jiggled open! Good luck any ways

Fair play to you - just wanted to advise that s's all I make steel.roller shutters and do locksmithing
work so always trying to.keep people out (shutters) then get people who.are locked out in! (Locksmithing ) see quite a few sites/garages/shops that have been easily manipulated due to a lock being poor or even a safe which can sometimes be anything but
