Ronal alloys - longer bolts and studs ?

Post by How50n »

I am fitting Ronal alloy wheels (7Jx15H2E23 / KBA40500) to a 1982 VW T25 2.0 air cooled camper

I understand that I will need longer bolts for the front wheels : M14 1.5 35mm

I will also need longer studs for the rear wheels but does anyone know what stud length suits this type of alloys ?

Many thanks...

Hi How50n,

I have the same alloys. Use 45mm long studs. You also need other than standard nuts (same as for the mefro steel wheels) Radius is 12 instead of 14, same applies to the bolts. Here's a link to the TK-Carparts page showing the different Bolts/Nuts/Studs. It's in German but not difficult to see that there are differences.
