Dash vents- how remove?

Post by baj25 »

I’ve got my new tacho and am ready to mount it on top of the fixed airvent on top of dash, between instruments and quarter light. I want to take vent out to do the drilling etc but try as I might I can’t get it out. Can anyone advise how to get it out? Or have a pic of the fixings so I know what I am dealing with? TIA, Bri

Hiya
This question came up in April of this year, as I have my van dash out at the moment I was able to take a photo of the dash vent to aid the removal. Here is a link to that original post:

Hope this helps you.
