Are diesel SYNCRO engine bars different to 2wd diesel bars???
in too deep to quit now....

Different, the syncro engine sits lower.

Any idea how much lower ... Or... Is it possible to modify 2wd's to do the job??

Another option is the new bars and hydraulic mounts as stocked by MV Engineering.

so I take it you are still parts hunting and haven't started the conversion yet?

I'm so glad I did mine, been getting 37mpg and I much prefer the wider torque band of the Tdi

Just fitted the VSS and brake pedal switches, so now just fitted the cruise control ready for the run to Camerjam this weekend 8)

Are you running std gearbox? What size wheels/tyres are you using ??
