I want to replace the clear fuel pipe running from fuel filter to fuel pump on my diesel engine. Currently I have the original clear pipe from the 1.6 diesel, with a repair at one end (black pipe overlapped and clamped at the fuel pump end). Local VW specialist told me it was an "acceptable" repair, but I want to replace it along with the filter, as I spotted an air bubble in there.
So what internal diameter do I need, and where is a good place to buy? I want to stick with clear pipe to keep an eye on the bubbles.
clear fuel pipe for fuel filter to fuel pump - diameter?

Have a search on Brickwerks, they do the whole pipe with the crimped ends and everything..
Actually found it for you

Cheers Lloydy, that also explains how the Filter end is supposed to attach!
