Late or early aaz?

Post by Bigjcc55 »

How do I tell whether I have an early or late? I finally want to fit the correct fuel pump and would like to change the timing belt whilst I'm at it and on brickwerks I've noticed an early and late option on the belt.

Thanks

Metal cambelt tensioner is early, they also have 8mm valve stems.
Plastic spring loaded cambelt tensioner is late, this has 7mm valve stems.
It does "break" on an engine number so this will tell you also.
