Re: Drivers door lock
If key can be inserted but won't turn it will be plungers sticking or plunger spring/s broken, prob the former. you can remove and dismantle to clean and lube

Re: Drivers door lock
plungers in the round barrel part that key goes into. the barrel then sits in black handle. the barrel has spring loaded plungers which engage in slots in the body of black door handle and thus prevent barrel turning till a key is inserted then plungers retract into the barrel out of the slots and thus allow barrel to turn/unlock

Re: Drivers door lock
hey there. new to the forum and a new owner of a 1985 T25. I've been trying to fix the locks on my van as they appear to have the same problems as listed above. But I'm having no luck removing the cylinder from the whole handle. Do you know if it's supposed to come out the back or the front of the handle? It's pretty gunked up so maybe I need to use degreaser? Thanks in advance from Reykjavík, Iceland.

You have to get access to the back of the handle
Sliding door lock has a tiny grub screw (flat blade)
Front doors have a tiny pin. (a good quality pin punch is needed)
In both cases the cylinder comes out the front. It is worth putting the key IN the cylinder before removing it.
They may take a bit of wiggling to get them out - a good squirt of WD40 should help
