Need advice on new petrol tank
Hi, we have a much loved 1985 t25 autosleeper. Petrol leaks out from breather hoses when we fill it up, however we know we can put 30 litres in when the gauge touches the red without a leak. However, last time we filled it up (accidentally to the top) the petrol started leaking out of the seam in the side of the tank. So we want to get the tank replaced. Is it advisable to get all the hoses and connectors replaced too? Also can someone recommend a good replacement tank - I know just kampers and vw heritage both do them? Appreciate any advice. Cheers Fergal

Ironically...the aftermarket 'German sounding' brand are the ones to avoid, where as the Oriental sounding make (Jesse Lai) are the aftermarket brand to buy.
Mine was a JesseLai and it was sourced from EuroCarParts...that was a couple of years ago (£92.40 is the current price) although I would check on the brand in case they have changed their supplier.
Also need to establish early/late...metal/plastic filler......yours must be non injection.
You need 1 metre of 5.5mm hose for the breather connections...unusual size however Brickwerks have it.

And use hose that can stand modern fuel additives rather than the old braided stuff. After all, you don't want to have to revisit the job in 2 years time....
