Machine shop in/near Manchester

I'm looking for someone to fit new valve stems, measure the crankshaft(and grind if necessary) and possibly de-glaze new cylinder liners for a DJ engine.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in Manchester?

sorry can't. when I tried something similar a few years back with a burnt exhaust valve, the machinist said they could do it but it would be far more cost effective to get a reconditioned head. They didn't seem too interested.
