Good morning everyone. My engine is 1.6d. Could somebody help me identify what this tiny pipe is and what its supposed to be attached too? Seems to spit diesil out when I rev the engine. Thank you

Each injector has two of those little pipe stubs. You will see that the other one on that injector is (or should be) connected by the black braided tube to the next, and so on until it gets to the return connection of the injector pump. The one you're pointing to just needs a little rubber cap to terminate the system. The old one has probably just rotted and fallen off! These little pipes take all the diesel that inevitably leaks out of the injectors (Back leakage) and send it back to the tank to be recycled.
You can buy kits from any motor factors which include the braided tube and the little end caps. Best buy a kit and change the whole lot. It's a cheap DIY job, and should be done every few years anyway.
