Gear linkage bushes

Post by gypo »

Morning all,
I need to change the gear linkage bushes on my van. I changed the front one at the stick a while back which helped but I need to do the rest, I have had a look at the wiki. Is it a job you can do on the ground or does it need to go up in the air? and does anyone have a link to or the best place to get the kit from please? :D
Cheers

Brickwerks, ebay, lots of places for kits. Jacking up van, yes a bit, even more if you're as big as I am....

I think there are a few more bits than that, bush in the support on the gearbox and a joint halfway

They are in that kit. Some models use two identical bushes. Should be OK though. Have a nose at 4 or 5-speed linkage WIKI section as you'll see which bushes go where.
