Converting input shafts petrol-diesel

Post by mig »

I will probably replace my dead WBX with an AAZ,
Being a tight git and having access to a lathe I am hoping to machine my petrol input shaft into a diesel one.
Is it exactly 1cm that needs to come of the nose, and from memory is there a groove machined in the diesel one?
If any one has a pic. of a diesel input shaft they could post up that would be great.
I may even buy one to copy then sell it on
Thanks

Only thing you need to do is trIm it down, nothing more.

Can't remember the life of me the amount, more than 10mm though, either 11 or 13 but can't remember, but that doesn't help much though.sorry. Have a look on the yard using google, sure I put it up last year :ok

Its 11mm :ok
