accelerator cable replacement

Post by scottbott »

I have a brickwerks one hanging up in the garage at the moment,is this a part to be replaced as part of a service even if it feels ok or just replaced when it breaks (probably at night in the rain),have wondered about replacing it just because I have it

Replaced when it breaks - unless you have any other issues with it.

Make sure it is in your van Gordon ready for when the old one breaks when you're on the road. No use in the garage mate!

Are you sure it's the right length and has the right ends on it, there's a gazzillion alternatives. I'd rather get it done in the dry when its warm :) They dont break in my experience they just start to stick where the cable starts to ware through the guide pipe.
