we needed same thing and went to Stanford hall show; traders were selling original t25 from £10-20 and these fit under seat and fit jack point. they had them stored away, but if you r still looking ill try and dig out the number. Debs

The problem with an origional jack is if your jacking points are crusty you risk doing damage
you may say if it crumbes it needed repairing anyway but personally i never jack from manufactureres jacking points after this happened to me many years ago
you may notice when you take any vehicle in for tyres they never jack from manufacturers jacking points
i jack from the trailing arm at the rear or track control arm at the front always with a piece of wood to sppread the load, as you are lifting the wheel not the body you have less far to go also
As said if you dont have a minimum 24 inch breaker bar then no point carrying a jack as you wont get the wheel bolts/nuts off anyway

Wow, thanks for your responses everyone. All your advice & recommendations are really helpful, cheers. Big respect to those of you who carry a 2 tonne trolley jack on camping trips. I also use the AA but for a puncture, would prefer to be self sufficient. And I'll definitely be practising taking the wheels off before the next big trip!

Don't just take a wheel off and put it back
Better to actually get the spare out and put it on
Somebody told me recently when they had a flat was a bad time to find out the dome nuts fitted with the alloys don't fit with the steel spare as its thinner
Rear studs may be too long also
You may need standard nuts and studs if you have alloys and a steel spare
Even if you don't have alloys its a good excuse to inspect the tyre for cracks especially on the sidewalls and pump it up

I notice that halfords have a special on at the moment for a 2ton trolley jack, axel stands, wheel chocks and a board for getting underneath for £50. Not upto to regular professional use but good for occasional maintenance maybe?
