tank

could anyone tell me what this is. At the front nearside wheel arch there is a tank .Two small pipes going to it ,don't know where they go to

Look the other side and you will find its twin brother.....these are breather tanks...the pipes go down to the petrol tank..it isn't unusual to find ALL 8 pieces of pipe connecting these pipes, perished and leaking fuel (on the lower sections)
This pipe is an unusual size, however, available from Brickwerks....1 meter is enough to replace all 8 pieces.
