Someone's had a hack at my Carb.

Howdy,
As above someone at somestage has taken a hacksaw to the float pivot. Quite why I don't know but the long of the short of it is that my mechanic is not overly happy to rebuild the carb with it as it is as the pivot bar itself is moving with the float and it could get out of alignment and we don't really want to have a fuel flood.
Ideally i'd want to replace the top of the carb. Anyone know where I could find one? Failing that I'll have to fect a repair using chemical metal and some SUGRU.

Oops, i've probably got some tops in the junk pile, you will need to swap your jet set and choke to it but it definitely won't have hacksaw marks in it, drop me an email or give me a call.

Steve, the part fitted a treat, the carb is now clean and shiney on the inside and out and working as it should. The vans never ran so well. Thanks for the help!
