Hi Toby, I had a company do mine but they pretty much cut it out using an electric saw - mine was the type that's built in to the pop top. Was a messy job by all accounts but the old one was leaking so needed changing - I would presume its just a case of measuring it up correctly, but for more advice give Simon a call/email at vwbusbits as I'm sure he'd be able to give you the details :ok

I cut mine out with a reciprocating saw too, quite terrifying ;-) vans looking beautiful , you must be chuffed to bits.
