Camb belts

[SUFFOLK]

I have been told that the vehicle I am buying does not have a cam belt as it has a distributor???!!! I have to confess I know little about engines but happy to learn. Is it true that the vw below does not have a Cam Belt.

Well it does not have a cam belt, old fashioned push rods, it does have a distributor but they are different things. Not connected at all!

ask them when the antifreeze / brake fluid / oil was last changed

ask for receipts

every 2 / 3 years , and oil yearly?
