Re: oil pressure gauge
A while ago I fitted an electric oil pressure gauge to my diesel. I bought the kit off fleabay. The problem seems to be getting one with the correct thread to fit the boss on the engine. And no, I can't tell you what that thread that is, cos I bought the wrong one! I think it's either 1/8NPT or 10x1mm
To do this you will need to fit a tee where one of the existing pressure switches screws into the oil filter housing, then screw the original pressure switch plus the pressure sender that comes with the kit into the tee piece. You will need an extra wire from the sender to your new oil pressure gauge, and a 12v supply and ground to the gauge.
I used a three core cable from the engine to behind the dash, so I had a couple of spares for the future.
Hope this helps.

Re: oil pressure gauge
Danny,
I think those two pressure senders are the high & low ones for the factory oil warning light and 'buzzer of doom'. You will need to keep both of them and fit a unit calibrated to the gauge as well as Colin says. Some of the oil filter mounting brackets have a spare hole for a second sensor.
Don't worry too much about the sensor thread. The AAZ, being German, will be 10x1mm. A British sensor might be the same or could be 1/8th NPT as Colin says. However, these threads are so close in pitch and pattern that you can screw one into the other. Certainly for the few turns that a sensor needs.
