12 bhp over what? If you've only got 50 very tired ponies it will be quite a welcome boost :-D

Thanks,12bhp more than 68bhp...80 bhp,but £240 for the modified injectors [exchange].
Im not sure if the torque coming in at 2400 is a good thing as at present the torque is at 2500.
And at 3000rpm the van is doing 54mph..
What do you think, worth a gamble?

Can they qualify the increase and give you an idea how EGT will be affected?

Is it 12 just no the injectors or boost and max fuel fiddled with at same time?

Would be good to have an idea of torque increase as well Dave .

Elvis, its Mario's Diesel supplier, the info is realy from Mario testing, the 12bhp is from just modifying the injectors [EGT 550c].
No other figures!

UnitedDiesel?

Got a VG name, they did mine and are spot on :ok

Have a look on vwdiesel.net , someone tested a load of JX pumps a few years back (could even have been baxter?) and it was shown/proven they were dog toffee after realtively low boost at supplying extra fuelling under boost as internals/LDA is a bit pants.

Well I bought some of the Hi-flow injectors and fitted them...they didn't work well in my van! no power below 3000rpm! and a flat spot and juddering between 2200 and 2900rpm.
Keith [Uniteddeisel] sent me some standard injectors which I fitted today, back to normal!
All in all I'm very disappointed could have used the extra 12bhp!!
Any thoughts?

i'd intercool it before doing any mods. Cool inlet means you can stick more fuel in.

To me no power and a flat spot would suggest the engine needs setting to match the extra fuel... correct me if im wrong. Surely there needs to be more boost to compensate for the extra fuel....

Thanks Lloydy,i'd love to intercool it but getting the bits in Spain is very tricky, any ideas?
At the mo'...oil temp max 110c, EGT 800c max, boost .7bar max, max speed 75mph [sat nav].
James,ta,i've been meaning to check with the people the re-built my turbo if I can safely increase the boost pressure [and how to do it].
Keith from Uniteddeisel is going to send me a second set of Hi-flow injectors from a different source,he says they do work so there must be something wrong with the set I have.
