Massive thanks.. stuck in 3rd & lost forth gear

Post by Rilester »

just a little post following an epic 30 mile journey last night home stuck in 3rd gear hitting every red light and then fearing the worst of a massive repair bill. I took 5 mins and found a few related posts on here and set about tinkering with the doofers and adjusting the watsit ( the connecting rod had worked a tad loose under the van about 10mm). Hey presto I now have all gears and back on the road :-) SO A MASSIVE thanks to all those that take the time to post and reply to all. This is truly a great forum keep up the good work. A very happy Phil.

:ok

I drove a Morris 1000 about 8 miles home stuck in reverse once  (it was on a quiet country B road by the way)
Got a new van, but it's a 165bhp T4 [shock horror] Accurate LPG Station map here
