Only commercial tyres are 8(and 6) ply.

As I've already mentioned...215/60/16's are the tyres to use(front and back) and they are available in commercial and car/MPV tyres.
The commercials are 103 load rated.
The car/MPV versions are available in 99 load rating.
Both options are perfectly ok to use on a fully laden T25.

What's the minimum safe load rating Steve, I had a look at mine and noticed they are only 95.

95 is fine as they are load rated to 690kgs each..1380 in total....and the axle weights are 1200kgs front and 1300kgs rear.

Someone may mention(again)that 'it states in the handbook that 97 should be used' but that handbook was printed nearly 35 years ago when there were only a couple of suitable tyre choices... and it also stated to use unleaded petrol as well! :D
Tyre technology has moved on significantly since back then and so has the choice of tyres that can be used safely on a T25.
