16" alloys

Post by si&helen cali89 »

Here we go another wheel check ,just some advice needed from all you experts out there. Ive found some wheels i want on my bus they are 16", 7" wide, stud diameter 112 /5 ,offset 45 , m14 stud holes. If i put 10 or 15 mm spacers on front and back will they be ok .If yes what size tyres would you recomend, my bus has also been lowered 40mm as well .THANKS

15mm spacers would be better but don't forget you will also need longer rear studs and front bolts(stud conversion)

Tyres: 215/60/16's.

But...what vehicle are the alloys originally from as they may need the centre bore enlarging as well and might not even be load rated either?

Their based in Devon. http://www.superforma.co.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And now Mark - helpful- knows the spacer hole diameter required 76mm is not 48mm. It will save you the to and fro hassle.
(I sent him mine as a template.) Photos and dims may help/ speed things up.

I now have camber correction plates. But the door then rubbed/hit the wheel. So I needed reduced spacers.
NOTE:- I had to file a few mm of the studs and nuts , so they didn't protrude. I will change them for studs after Easter.
BTW - 25mm spacers means no filing.

No...that is the correct size to use on 7"X16" wheels and yes plenty of clearance.

As for superforma...do they wear a mask and ride a horse.......
