fuel hose clip size

Post by lhd »

what size clips do i need for the 5.5ID fuel hose, brickyard says 12mm but on ebay I can only find 10-12mm or 12-14mm, which is the better fit,any ideas?
I need to get two vans worth and its a lot cheaper to buy 10 at a time from ebay, well maybe not a lot but cheaper none the less.
both vans 1.9dg
Cheers Rob.

Vehicle wiring products sell a 12 mm clip - PPC12 - this will cover 11-13 mm so will fit in with what brickyard says

Alternatively ECAS 2CV parts supplier sell 5.5 mm fuel pipe that is top quality and provide the clips to suit the pipe - the pipe is expensive BUT you really only want to be doing this job once

Especially as you hire out the campers :D
