A while ago I removed the front grill of my van to fit a new badge.
At the same time, two cardboard cut outs that were wedged either side fell out and disintegrated.
What are they, and what do they do?
Should I replace them?
Thanks in advance.
Probably a stupid question...

They direct air flow through the radiator. Often missing so not necessary unless you are experiencing hot running whilst driving.
I believe replacements are available from Brickwerks.

Re: Probably a stupid question...
They are a little bit like all the flaps on the front of formula 1 cars. They are put there for very good reasons but the cars seem to go just as well without them. I have heard that they also reduce some wind noise when traveling at high motorway speeds (100mph+) I think I remember a member on here replacing them with copies cut from an estate agents for sale board!!
