Solar power trickle charger

Post by Fumar »

Are they worth it?

My battery goes flat in days.. its only a few months old.. charges fine while driving..

I was considering sticking a solar power trickle charger in there.. but don't want to waste £30 on something else that will go in the bin..

Are they any good?
I like them tall and rough.. flat fours sound the best even if its got less power than a flymo!!

Something is draining tge battery then, no point adding a trickle charger until you fix that.
try taking the battery pos off while everything is off and measure current drawn with a multimeter

also if your battery is flat it needs a good 12h charge with a standard 4a charger, driving wont do it as you dont drive long enough
