It looks like the cure date on the hose in 1987 so well past its best. Bend the hose tightly and see if the cover cracks. Any caravan shop should be able to sell you a replacement hose. The end fitting looks like a 10mm L metric but its impossible to tell from your photo.

Replace the pipe and buy a regulator to suit whatever (UK) bottle you will be using. Will be either the smaller "907" type (expensive to run on) or if you can fit one in, a 4.5kg Calor bottle is better value when buying the re-fills. The pipe and the regulator should only cost around £15, for both.
If your stove/fridge gas supply system was set up in Germany it should need a 50mbar regulator/controller. The 28/30mbar regulator used in UK systems is a poor substitute. You can get the 50mbar ones on Amazon.
Yeah. I'm still stuck using a 28mbar regulator as the previous 50mbar one broke. The gas pressure is really low on the stove as a consequence. In fact I am surprised that the fridge works at all.
I bought a new 50mbar one two years ago, but I cannot find a hose with the correct connector to fit my Westie stove and fridge connection. Been to caravan places and they could not assist. Still driving me nuts and the current hose is coming to the end of its life.
@ Ralph, you can get gas hose designed for engine LPG use in different sizes. It is designed for gas (obviously) and also to take the hostile environment in the engine bay, so should be fine for your domestic gear.
Günzl sell new 50mbar gas regulators as well as second stage regulators that will step down from a 50mbar system to 30mbar - see their gas products here
You can also get second stage regulators from Hamilton Gas Products in the UK - we bought one of their 50mbar -> 38mbar regulators and the various hose fittings from them to allow us to run one of the Kampa Geyser portable water heaters from the barbeque point on our Westy.

Went to a local gas supplier(calor) today, he took a look and said just start again , remove hose and buy new one and use own regulator which is fine as only be running the hob.
So have removed hose,

Didnt cut the hose as to short and it's old !
