Good to see another van getting bit of TLC been a lot of it this winter :D
That's made my mind up on bumper colour selection when mines gets its shiny new coat next week 8)
Wouldn't it been as quick taking light clusters off instead masking and got more paint in ?

The colour looks good but the way they did it by covering lights and leaving bumpers on (there's bound to be rust behind those) left the aerial on too etc, is not. I guess they left the doors on and the windows still in too.
A respray is only as good as the preparation. Did they strip the paint back remove, replace rusty panels and prep the surfaces properly, or did they just spray over the paint already there? How much did they charge for the job?

I think to be fair the op merely said it had been resprayed, which it clearly has, no claims made regarding repairs, so just a freshen up, a mate so mates rate , but an hour or 2 to remove a few basic items would have been as quick IMHO

Mine escalated from a waxoyl bit of tidy up and putting bit of stoneguard in December on to discovering can of worms so it sits in spray shop yet another week stripped of all windows etc etc but hopefully by end next week will be ready for many years of fun again .The van needs the van gets has become the motto of 2014 couldn't see the point of half measures when planning to keep for ever :D So for sacrificing a 2 weeks in Cyprus/Spain type holiday with nothing to show but fading tan & few photos this summer will have many years of breaks away.
Next year may do same and go for LPG like Bren 1664 had looked top job and may even spoil it too PAS like Bigsean :ok
Just to rub things in just had tax reminder for end of month & not even hit the road this year Oh well only another  £225 just gone to DVLA

Like I said it was done by a friend as a favour , he did put two new rear wheel arches on and a bit of welding here and there, took two off side windows out to get at rust, but for £600 pound im not complaining :P

I like that. Sort of standard, but with little personal touches like the minty hook up cover etc.
Nice.
