Lubrication
is important jeff.
Without it the giggle pin would seize in the fuffle.. with burning and a lot of damage
imagine that

I have found the older models need more lubrication than the younger ones as the bushes dry out over time.

When i was quite young i remember my first ride in a T3, it was quite an young van also, i was so excited but it was a bit embarrasing really becuase every time i got out it made a sort of farting noise from the lower bush
it's never happened with any of my later vans
