OK, So my Tin-Top is back from the (long!!!!!!!!) restoration and although I am happy with most of it, the guy has let himself down on a couple of areas. The top most "lip" of the gutters is simply lacking in paint and is starting to show "orange" in a couple of places. Also, directly underneath the gutters, in that tight to get at bit, is the same (you don't need pics, do you ?). As these are not highly visible "panels" (all those seem OK so far) my plan is to lightly clean those areas, lightly Vactan them, probably using cotton wool as an applicator on the tops of the gutters, then "touch them up" by brush, before finally fitting some of that black gutter edge trim (as I used on the Hi-Top). I was going to fit that trim anyway.
L90D by the way.
As all this is pretty minor and will be done with a fine brush, should I just buy a tiny tin of "touch up" such as THIS ONE on Ebay at £6.64, or is there a better way to go ?
What to use as "touch up paint" (post re-spray "confused" !)

I've never got on very well with those little touch-up pots - they always seem to be too thick, and I don't like having the cap lid brush covered in paint all the way up the stem. The last couple of times I've needed touch up paints I've used a spray can. If you spray a bit into the cap you get some liquid paint that you can paint on with a separate brush. The paint stays thin enough for a while, and when it's too thick to use just freshen it up with another squirt. It lasts ages this way. Halfords do one for L90D.
Alternatively, you can get a litre of colour-matched Rustoleum for under £25, and you'll have loads, and you won't have to worry about undercoating it first. I used that for exactly the gutter problems you've described. I thinned it a bit, and painted it into the gutters themselves as well to give a bit more protection, and it seems to be holding up. It flows well so there's barely a join, and the colour match is good (although the first tin I was sent was way off - I think that was human error).
My gutters don't yet have any edging on them. I'm wary that although they will stop water falling onto the gutter edge they might draw water up through capillary action and it would then take ages to dry, making the problem worse. I've got some edging ready to go on though, and I think I'll probably fix it on with some polymer sealant - not to hold it on but to make sure it seals the water out.

Thanks for that, I think I will go for the Halford's Aerosol "spray, or brush from some in the cap" option then
