Giggle pin replacement
My fuffle bar is squeaking, I am suspecting the giggle pin, or the bushes.
Can anyone confirm?

It's usually a rustling sound if it is the bushes.

Re: Giggle pin replacement
This is usually brought on by a lack of grease on your thrunge gusset.

Re: Giggle pin replacement
got to be having a laugh, you can't remove the giggle pin so it must be the ker has snapped off the fuffle bar but others will likely disagree

If you can't fix it, new fuffle bars are available here: http://www.fudgeheaven.co.uk/index.php?page=BARS" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Giggle pin replacement
If the fuffle loses contact with the gusset for any appreciable length of time it can become dry and flakey. The giggle pin ensures these two stay stuck together, but the bush makes it hard to locate over fuffle.

Re: Giggle pin replacement
Try shoving the fuffle through the bush this should help , if not the gnozzle valve might need inverting so the schonk wonzle comes away a bit easier. Simples

Nice one..

Ok update
I have removed the fuffle bar and found it's bush has spiders legs around it.
The one I ordered earlier is from Brasil, and a lot tidier.
The giggle pin is unmovable, as said, but I can wag it about a bit, is this normal?
Once it's in the bush from Brasil it moves smoothly in and out with no lateral motion.
Thanks all

Re: Giggle pin replacement
The Brazilian bush is a polly bush so is much smaller than a British bush but due to EU regulations the British bush has now been discontinued. However I have heard that the Germans are refusing to adhere to the new EU standard and have remained untrimmed

Re: Giggle pin replacement
Wow that's a mighty impressive giggle pin Neville.
On closer inspection of the refitted fuffle it seems to self lubricate very well with the new bush in, I reckon I caught it in time, just goes to show that regular maintenance of your fuffle bush pays off in loads.
What a great forum!

Re: Giggle pin replacement
have you tried forcing the crookshank into the fluffle valve but lube it up so as not to invert the flange ?
...a dry fluffle will make the poor old crookshank buckle somewhat

Mines a late van, I thought crookshanks were on older models.
