Yep all 3 changed, have only been in the van since this time last year. should have checked the end float at the same time.

I find it hard to belive its the float, it wasnt that far out
more likely the groove coupled with the float or it was a substandard crank seal, i bought one from brickwerks recently and it was an elring seal, oem and good quality

The one I took out was part of a brickwerks engine gasket set, the new one today was an elring.
I am hoping it was a mix of the end float and groove.
