I'm looking on getting some if these (I currently have front fogs but they don't work & are looking a bit manky):

hey,
the wiring kit looks good, might give that a price comparison, TBH for the fogs all i need is the relay.
i've already got some spots as well, but again i'm a bit unsure where to wire from etc, i'm thinking the need to be wired via headlights by law?
those fogs / spots look good, but be careful the listing reads like they are not sure which they are, fogs and spots are two very different things?

Yeah, for the price that kit isn't bad as you'll probably pay a fiver for the relay alone (always handy having extra wiring)!
I don't think theres a requirement by law on front fogs for vehicles the age of ours (although am prepared to be corrected). My current fogs are just set up to a separate switch on the dash via a relay - they don't work either & are not an mot failure.
Will have a proper look into those lights on the link

Using the rear fog switch ensures the front fogs only come on when the headlights are used

now, regarding spotlights, do they need to be wired via light switch by law or just a switch on the dash?

wiring to the rear fog switch means you'll never leave them on if you forget.
