how do I get my windscreen washers out?

how do I get my windscreen washers out?

stripped the van and delivered to the paint shop yesterday but the only thing I couldn't take off was the windscreen washers they wouldn't budge! can any body tell me how to get the darn things off?
all we do today is make memories for tomorrow

they twist, and when you get them out have a self tapping screw and small washer to screw into the end of the tube so you dont loose it down the rear and then make sure you THROW the old ones away and only buy new genuine

If you do lose the tubes..it's a dash out :D

Damn Damn Damn, I just KNEW there was summat else I wanted when I was ordering from Brickwerks yesterday :twisted: I spent half an hour scratching my chin trying to remember what it was !!

just go to a vw dealer , they are current , if buying for other suppliers make sure you can tell the diffence

Yeah, dealer is 20 miles away and I only need 2 jets :| - It can wait.

Just hoping my VERY loose jets is where the water is coming in ! (Thanks a lot "Mr Williams")

water in cab is probably old knackered windscreen rubber

it leaks in through bottom corners of screen rubber and rots front panel ,just had my panel replaced and new windscreen rubber and dry as a bone through all that rain.check for rusty marks on edges of dashboard next to screen as it rusts metal dash as well

wow, you had the whole panel where the wipers come through replaced ? was this recently and where did the big panel come from

Could it be that there are holes under where they fitted the new rubber I wonder. How much does it cost to replace the panel - I hope mine is OK, it should be.

Is this on the tin top john? Could be a cheap rubber, leaking through the washer jets or even the grommets on the wiper spindles.
