Hole in airpipe / random hanging thing

Post by Smosh »

Firstly I havent been very active over the winter - sulking about the winter, for that I apologise. I hope you all had a good christmas and are surviving the weather ok.

I have a hole in a pipe. You can see it in the picture attached? Can anyone tell me if this is something needed to be sorted sooner rather then later? I have miss placed my haynes.

Also, can anyone tell me what this random dangly thing resting on the engine block is?

Hot air intake not needed in uk as its not cold enough, ignore it or take it off and bin it

Dangly think looks like tdc sensor for diagnostics,, if it is it runs to the rear rhs of the engine where it meets the gearbox, just tie it out the way.

have you really parked your van on blue carpet? Very posh
