Lead replacement

Post by moosma »

Recently acquired T25 1.9petrol engined camper. Noticed in the glove box some fuel lead replacement additive for unleaded fuel. I was wondering whether I should be adding this to my fuel or not?
Would appreciate any advice.
Cheers

All of the wasserboxer engines (including your 1.9) had the harder valve seats fitted from the factory, so when leaded petrol was dropped in the early 90's, is wasn't necessary to use an additive to compensate.
