1.9 AAZ T25 No GP light
I have no glow plug light on the dash and the van will not turn over.
I have been having problems starting it before but that was due to an air leak in the fuel system and I have replaced two fuel hoses and it would start on the first turn of the key.
But when I went out yesterday I had no gp light on the dash.
I have had the relay out and tested it and got ohms across the pegs and across the 87 and 30 when I moved the relay inside.
I get a circuit across the temp sender but not across the two wires to the light, is that right? If I take off the cable it will not start.
There is no power on the gp bus bar.
The 50A fuse is ok.
Any help please.

Thanks Oldiebut goodie for the image. I have used a multimetre on the bus bar but get no reading. I am wondering if its not the stop solenoid or the relay, It can't be the ignition switch if it will crank?
I am going to put a jump lead from the fusible link to the bus bar to see if get any joy.

Carry out the checks above could well be a fubarred relay.

Re: 1.9 AAZ T25 No GP light
when the key is off there is voltage between 30 & 87
but when the key is on there is nothing between 85 & 86
So I am wondering if there is a problem with the ignition or fuse that has blown

The ground works on 85 but there is no power on 86. It must be somewhere the between the ignition switch and 86. Advice please

Re: 1.9 AAZ T25 No GP light
Just used a multimetre on voltage and picked up a 12+ voltage from placing the negative on 86 and the positive on the positive side of the battery. Any ideas?

Re: 1.9 AAZ T25 No GP light
Seems it maybe a wire that was shot but can't test it because I broke the relay - another one ordered from Just Kampers.
Should the busbar be grounded because when I attach a test light to a live feed it lights up on the busbar (indicating it is earthed) and does the same on one of the glowplugs (the one closest to the front of the van) when I take off the busbar?
