Hi all
I've fitted a new clutch slave to my 2l Aircooled van. Just one question - should the cup onthe end of the slave pushrod click into place over the ball on the clutch arm or does it just sit on top?
I've tried to click it into place with no joy.

Pretty sure it just sits on top, mine does anyway

I just assumed a ball and cup arrangement would click together. Took it for a drive and all seems well.
